Back-end developer

Teamium.io is looking for a full time back-end developer to work in our development team building an enterprise SaaS application: Teamium.  The applicant will be part of a Scrum team working in a fast-paced environment in close collaboration with back-end developers, UI designers, testers and support team. The position is based in India and will initially be remote.

Responsibilities include:

·       Develop well-designed, secure, testable, efficient software adhering to best-practice coding standards.

·       Collaborate with front-end and UI developers to design and integrate back-end using Rest APIs.

·       Gather and refine specifications and requirements needed for developing back-end features.

Qualifications –

·       Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required

·       2-4 years relevant programming experience in application development.

Skills & Other Requirements:

·       Must have advanced development experience on Java8.

·       Must have excellent experience of REST API Development with Java Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA. Experience in frontend development and Angular 6+ preferred

·       Must have experience of developing enterprise applications.

·       Must have experience of working with RDBMS. MySQL, PostgreSQL preferred.

·       Should have good knowledge of writing unit test cases with any of the framework – JUNIT Mockito etc.

·       Must have good troubleshooting, debugging skills.

·       Good research, PoC development, troubleshooting, debugging skills.

·       Knowledge of Agile methodologies and familiarity with Jira and other Atlassian tools desired

·       Experience with source control solution GITHUB desired

·       Good research, POC development skills

·       Good verbal and written communication skills in English
